Box 358315 Pittsburgh, PA 15251-5315 Subject:Original Certification Application for Class B Computing Device Peripheral FCC ID: I88PRESTIGE760V / Data Service Unit, Model PRESTIGE 760V Gentlemen: Enclosed, please find ZyXel Communications Corporation’s application for equipment authorization dated August 10, 2000. The subject device is in compliance with Part 15, Subpart B of the FCC Rules. This device is a HDSL2 high bit-rate digital subscriber Data Service Unit (DSU) designed to provide cost-effective access to high speed HDSL2 service. This device will inter-operate with a frame relay router interface, enabling Internet access over the existing telephone lines. This device uses CPU type ARM50100 that operates at 17.28 MHz clock speed. This device supports V.35 and X.21 synchronous serial interface in data communication equipment and 2-wire T1 data transmission speeds up to 1.544 Mbps. Also, this device is provided with ZyXel Direct Plug-In AC Adapter, type MW48-1601000A. This EUT was network system tested while connected to remote located host computer system through simulated telephone network in representative high-speed data transfer mode. Tests were performed in accordance with ANSI C63.4-1992 to show compliance to CISPR 22 Class B limits. Should you have any questions or comments, please contact the undersigned.
