If your mobile device uses a non-removable main battery (as stated in your product information), details related to handling and replacing your battery should be disregarded—the battery should only be replaced by a Motorola-approved service facility, and any attempt to remove or replace your battery may damage the product.Important: Handle and store batteries properly to avoid injury or damage. Most battery issues arise from improper handling of batteries, and particularly from the continued use of damaged batteries.DON’Ts• Don’t disassemble, crush, puncture, shred, or otherwise attempt to change the form of your battery. • Don’t let the mobile device or battery come in contact with liquids.* Liquids can get into the mobile device’s circuits, leading to corrosion. • Don’t allow the battery to touch metal objects. If metal objects, such as jewelry, stay in prolonged contact with the battery contact points, the battery could become very hot. • Don’t place your mobile device or battery near a heat source.* High temperatures can cause the battery to swell, leak, or malfunction. • Don’t dry a wet or damp battery with an appliance or heat source, such as a hair dryer or microwave oven. DOs• Do avoid leaving your mobile device in your car in high temperatures.* • Do avoid dropping the mobile device or battery.* Dropping these items, especially on a hard surface, can potentially cause damage.* • Do contact your service provider or Motorola if your mobile device or battery has been damaged by dropping, liquids or high temperatures. * Note: Always make sure that the battery compartment and any connector covers are closed and secure to avoid direct exposure of the battery to any of these conditions, even if your product information states that your mobile device can resist damage from these conditions.Important: Motorola recommends you always use Motorola-branded batteries and chargers for quality assurance and safeguards. Motorola’s warranty does not cover damage to the mobile device caused by non-Motorola batteries and/or chargers. To help you identify authentic Motorola batteries from non-original or counterfeit batteries (that may not have adequate safety protection), Motorola provides holograms on its batteries. You 6 Touchscreen & Keys should confirm that any battery you purchase has a “Motorola Original” hologram. If you see a mes…

APPLICANT: MOTOROLA MOBILITY, INC. FCC ID: IHDT56MV1 Motorola Mobility, Inc.; 8000 W. Sunrise Blvd, Suite A; Plantation, FL 33322, USA www.motorola.com Exhibit 1: Identification Label -- Pursuant to 47 CFR 2.925 and 2.1033(c)(11) 1.1 Location On the rear (back) side of the radio product chassis, beneath the battery (see also Exhibit 3). 1.2 Type The label is of a white polyester film laminate with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing. The adhesive is a permanent type acrylic with minimum peel strength of 5 lbs/in. 1.3 Markings (Text) The FCC label shown is representative of the label that will appear on the radio when in production. Figure 1.3.1. Representation of FCC Label information. This label will be placed on the equipment (within the Battery Compartment) as shown below. Other information may also be included on this label, and other labels may also be present. FCC ID: IHDT56MV1 Page 1 - 1 APPLICANT: MOTOROLA MOBILITY, INC. Location of FCC Label (position, orientation, and other information shown may vary). Interior Battery Compartment FCC Label Back of Device Please note that this label and its placement complies with the requirement of FCC Rule 47 CFR 2.925(d) that the label be permanently affixed to the product, and be readily visible to the purchaser at the time of purchase. Further, at the time of purchase, batteries are shipped in a separate section or compartment of the radio packaging, and are not attached to the radio. In some instances they may be shipped in separate boxes. So, the end user needs to physically install the battery by removing the battery cover, if any, or attach the battery before using the radio. Further, the placement of the label in the battery compartment is done because space is limited on the exterior of the device. The battery compartment also helps to protect the label from getting obliterated or made unreadable through regular handling and use. The product’s Market or Trade Name is indelibly printed on the face of the product, as shown in Exhibit 3. Exhibit 1A: General Information 1A.1 Production Plans Quantity production is planned. 1A.2 Data Submittal Procedure Performance data located in Exhibit 6 are supplied in accordance with the Commission’s rules: 47 CFR Part 2, Subpart J. The intended use of this transceiver includes applications covered in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 47, Part 15, Subparts A, B, and C; Part 24 Subparts B and D; and Part 90, Subparts I and S. Compliance with FCC requirements was done via the Verification process (47 CFR 2.902). This device may be considered to be a digital device, per 47 CFR 15.3(k), and can function as a computer peripheral device when functioning as an RF modem, as described in 47 CFR 15.3(r). For this reason, a Part 15B test report is included with this application.
