Operational Description

Circuit Description The 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7mHz and IC oscillator drives the base of IC2 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by Audio Input. The output of IC2 has the matching network consisting of L5 and C23 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source There is no external antenna. Electric current is supplied by the vehicle 12VDC lighter plug. Installation and Operating Instructions: 1. Plug in the IPTRNS01 into the cigarette lighter or 12V DC power socket In your dash. 2. Plug in the 3.5 mm mini jack to the portable audio device.(ie.MP3 player, CD player, DVD player, etc.) NOTE: Some devices have a LINE OUT and HEADPHONE JACK audio output. The HEADPHONE JACK output is recommended because the audio volume can be adjusted. 3. Once all connections are made, turn on radio and tune to either 88.1 MHz, 88.3 MHz, 88.5 MHz, or 88.7MHz as selected by the switch on the top of the FMTRNS01 unit. For future use, set the selected FM station as a β€œpreset” on your stereo. 4. Power up and play your auxiliary device. You should hear the audio from your auxiliary device playing through your car stereo speakers.
