When using your device the first time, you should complete the following tasks to set up the device and get to know the basic features. 1. Install the batteries (page 4). 2. Register the device (page 6). 3. Acquire satellites (page 6). 4. Set up the radio (page 9). 5. Mark a waypoint (page 15). 6. Record a track (page 17). 7. Navigate to a destination (page 18). 8. Calibrate the compass (page 19).
