APPLICANT : TYCO PLAYTIME FCC ID : IVX27861-2-27T CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION Q1 and Q2 form a stable multivibrator which is controlled by switches SW1 and SW2. The output of the multivibrator is mixed with the 49.86 MHz carrier of crystal oscillator Q3 at the base of Q4 the RF amplifier/buffer. The antenna is inductively coupled to the output stage through L4 and the matching network of C6, C7, and L3. Energy is supplied by a 9 volt battery. ANTENNA AND GROUND CIRCUITRY This unit makes use of an attached flexible 5” antenna. No ground connection is provided. The unit relies on the ground tract of the printed circuit board. RADIATION INTERFERENCE: The test procedure used was ANSI STANDARD C63.4-1992 using a HEWLETT PACKARD spectrum analyzer with a prese- lector. The bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer was 100 kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a microvolt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100KHz and the video bandwidth was 300KHz. The ambient temperature of the UUT was 99o with a humidity of 25%.
