Functional description The CE1 is part of a seatbelt control system of a road vehicle which further comprises of multiple seat modules CD1. The CE1 cyclically wakes up all corresponding CD1 over LF (21.85KHz) one after the other and requests their status. This status is received over 434 MHz unidirectional communication. The function of th e CE1 is to identify the status of th e seat parameters as sensed by the CD1. The CE1 can be triggered at ignition ON to identify the current status of the buckle & occupancy of the seats & at every state change detected by the CD1. Messages received by the CE1 are sent to a central controller module. No other load are connected to the CE1.
