Operational Description

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION OF THE TRANSMITTER ! There are three buttons (SW-1,SW-2 & SW-3) on the face of the transmitter that commands the SecuritySystem operated as follows: BUTTON #1 (SW-1) = Arms and Disarms BUTTON #2 (SW-2) = Opens the trunk / or silently “Arms” and “Disarms” BUTTONS #3 (SW-3) = Commands a Channel (3) Signal. This signal is generally used to command a Remote Starter Module, but can beused to operate any vehicle function. ! Depress Button (Switch) on Remote Transmitter. Power is supplied to the ASK MOD. oscillation circuit and Encoder IC U1. ! Then, the Encoder IC U1 is activated. ! The Encoder IC U1 is a 2 24 series of encoder C-MOS LSIs designed for use in remote control systems. ! A transmission word of the Encoder is transmitted to the DATA OUT pin and R2 consecutively, after atrigger is received. The trigger signal occurs on the DATA 1-DATA 2 pin.! This transmission word (binary) is applied to the base of TR Q2 of LC type ASK MOD. oscillation circuit. ! The RF oscillation circuit consists of Alternated Collpitts type (Q2,C2~5,CV1,L2 Inductor) which operatesthe 300Mhz frequency band. The Modulator Signal is transmited to Rod Antenna via filter C6-C7. The Frequency of 300Mhz is finely adjusted by trimmer capacitor C2.
