Your three button transmitter is an easy to use for arm, disarm, personal protection, keyless locking and unlocking, trunk release. Instruction #1: Remote System On 1. Press and release the transmitter #1 2. One siren chirp sound and a light flash verify the operation. 3. Door lock (if optional keyless entry is installed). 4. Visible theft warning LED light flashes slowly. Instruction #2: Remote System Off 1. Press and release the transmitter button #1 2. Two siren chirps and two flashes verify this operation. 3. Door will unlock (if optional keyless entry is installed). 4. Interior light will turn on for 30 seconds (if optional Illumination is installed). 5. No LED theft warning light will be seen. Note: If you hear any additional chip sounds, the system has been triggered and the alarm was activated while you were away from the vehicle. Please refer to the following chart. The diagnostic report will automatically shut off when ignition switch is turned on. With your vehicle key in the key cylinder, turn it on. (On means driving position) 2. Have your door open 3. Turn the ignition switch On/Off 4 Times. Instruction #5: Personal Protection Alarm (PANIC) 1. Press and hold Button#1 for approximately for three seconds. 2. Personal Panic alarm is activated and siren sounds and lights flash for 30 seconds. 3. Press and release the transmitter button #1 to cancel the panic mode. Press & hold button #1 for 3 SEC. Light flashes Siren(30Sec ) Instruction # 6: CH2 Trunk Release (OPTIONAL) 1. Press and hold down the transmitter #2 until trunk release. 2. You want to disarm the system when CH-2 is used. However, alarm stay in previous mode (Arm or Disarm). Page–2 Instruction #7: Temporary chirp delete Arm/Disarm chirp can be temporarily deleted from your remote transmitter. To use temporary chirp disable, 1. Press and release transmitter button #2. 2. Within 3 seconds, press and release the transmitter button #1 or #3 for desired function. Instruction #8: Valet Mode The Valet mode means that all normal system functions are turned off. This feature is useful when valet parking, refueling, or servicing your vehicle. Valet mode via Remote Arm your vehicle by pressing #1 on your transmitter and then right after within 5 sec. Press and release transmitter button # 3 Instructions # 9: Dual Car Operation The SJ80A can be configred for dual car operation, if both vehicles have the same series security system. 1. First set your K3MSJ80A in the transmitter programming mode. Door open Turn ignition on/off 10 times Press & releas e button #1 or #2 flashing Silen or 2. Then depress #2 instead of depressing button # 1. 3. When using transmitter with a second vehicle, the functions of Button #1 and Button #2 are reversed for the second vehicle Instruction #10: Car Hi-Jack The HAWK Anti-Hi Jacking system can be initiated by YOU...the vehicle owner. Some people like this system, some don’t. Now you can choose whether or not to use the Anti-Hi Jacking feature. Page–3 Changing Car Hi-jacking Mode Door open Turn ignition on/off 10 times 2 Light flashes 2 Chirps Press & release button #1,#2,#1,#3 Operation: 1. When entering a suspicious area, simply press and hold button #3 for more than 5 seconds 2. This will place the Anti-Hi Jacking feature in Standby mode. Five chirp sound and five light flashes verify Standby mode 3. If the door opened & closed (In expected Carjacking), the processor will start to operate at time of closing the door. After 40 seconds, the siren will sound and the lights will flash. (To reset: Turn the ignition switch On/Off 4 Times) To activate: Turn your ignition in on position. Then press and hold button # 3 for 5 seconds on your Transmitter.( To stop, simply turn the ignition switch into off position) Instruction # 11: Car Finder Mode Car finder mode will be most useful when you can't locate your vehicle. Just simply depress # 3 on your transmitter and hold down for 5 second. . Instructions # 12: Bypassing Shock Sensor for Turbo Cool Down Since some vehicles with turbo engines have an engine cool down period of at least 2 minutes from the turn-off, this feature shall activate shock sensor in 3 minutes after arming the system. Changing to Turbo Cool Down Mode Door open Turn ignition on Press & release button #3, #2, #3, #2 2 Light flashes 2 Chirps After you have activate the Turbo cool down mode 1. Press and release button #1 to arm the system. 2. Shock sensor automatically shall be activated after 3minutes. Page–4 Instruction # 13: To adjust your Shock Sensor The SJ80A is equipped with an internal 2 stage Impact Sensor. 1 Stage will indicate a warn way type chirp, along with a full 30 Sec.
