Operational Description

FCC_IC_NVR35M_Operational Description_Rev0 NVR35M Operational Description The NVR35M is a Wireless PIR Detector. It provides a superior wireless outdoor and indoor solution for window and sliding door protection, with two operation modes: Pet Immune mode 7.5X2m (25X7ft) and Sharp mode 10X2m (33X7ft) with dual verification detection. NVR35M implements passive infrared technology to provide curtain-style perimeter protection, detecting movement through a structural opening (e.g. a window or a door). NVR35M has anti-masking capability (protecting from attempts to mask/block the PIR detector). The NVR35M operate using two 1.5DC AA alkaline batteries. With normal use, the NVR35M will function up to three years without the need to replace the batteries. NVR35M operates on 433MHz or on 868MHz frequency. The wireless frequency can be changed by a DIP switch. For USA and Canada 433MHz frequency is set by manufacturer and cannot be modified. Range/PIR sensitivity level can be chosen by sensitivity trimmer (normal sensitivity is a default mode). If a tamper is detected (when opening the cover or removing from mounting surface) or alarm event occurred, the microprocessor processes the event and commands the RF circuit to send the message to the receiver unit and from there to the main control unit of the alarm system. The RF circuits of NVR35M receives the formatted message from the micro controller and modulate it on a radio frequency carrier then transmit it. The type of modulation used is OOK (On and Off Keying). A helicoidally type antenna is use to convert the electric wave to electromagnetic wave. Apr-29-2015 Nimrod Herman Certification Manager
