SHAN YEUN CO., LTD. PIR MOTION DETECTOR (MOD-900T) This improved home alarm system offers greater protection with its highly sensitive PIR sensor that detects any moment within its operating range. SPECIAL FEATURES *It offers a wide angle PIR detection. *It offers greater protection. *It covers a large operating distance of over 100ft. *Eliminate false alarm. *RF transmission. *Comes with a mounting brackets. *Detects any movement by PIR sensor. *Cheap, reliable and easy to operate. *Optional features available on request. INSTALLATION (Transmitter) Slide open the battery compartment and connect a 9V (3D) battery as indicated by the polarity symbol. Replace the battery cover. Place the unit to any suitable location or mount it on the wall opposite to whatever you want it to monitor. To activate the unit, slide the power ON/OFF switch to βONβ position. INSTALLATION (Receiver) *Slide open the battery compartment of the receiver in the direction of the arrow. *Insert two AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbol (+ and -) marked inside the battery compartment. *Replace the battery cover *Select a suitable and convenient location to place the receiver. *To activate the unit, slide the switch to βONβ position. OPERATION When the PIR sensor detects any movement wherever it is mounted or installed, its encoder circuit is triggered. The signal is then transmitted through the AM modulation, producing RF to the receiver via the antenna. The receiver will then amplify and decode the signal, which in turn produces an alarm or ding-dong sound depending on your switch position. NOTE *Use alkaline batteries for best results. *Switch OFF the unit when not in use. *Replace battery (a) when red indicator on the transmitter fails to light. (b) When chime tone becomes weak or inaudible. CAUTION β *Tampering or any modification of the unit will invalidate its warranty. *Do not operate the unit where the PIR sensor will be covered by objects such as glass, plastics, wood, etc. *Do not drop the unit from a height.
