*** USER’S MANUAL *** FCC ID : L2BACEKEY82K Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: -- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. -- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help. USERS MANUAL Page 1 of 6 z System Requirement Defining by customer z Package Contents Defining by customer z Initial your product 1. Put two (AA) Alkaline batteries to keyboard battery room in bottom face and please follow the pole mark inside the battery room. 2. Plug the receiver cable into your computer connector by their function color, the purple is for keyboard. 3. Make sure your keyboard and receiver distance is under the effective range which is indicating in specification section. 4. Turn on your computer to enjoy the no wired freedom. Note. If you are first time install this keyboard, you can ignore “ID Setting” section to use keyboard. If can not be use in first time install on your computer, please follow the ID Setting section to setting or please kindly to check the FAQ to find the problem out and solve it. z ID Setting (You no need to do this setting when you use this keyboard first times) When I need to do this setting? ‹ Change or replace the battery when battery power is low level. ‹ The character will be loss when I use keyboard. ‹ The symptoms of inference happen. Setting procedures 1. Press the “CONNECT” button which in RECEIVER top face, the receiver “ACTIVE” light will be flash and into the stand by mode to wait keyboard send the ID code. 2. Press the “CONNECT” button which in keyboard bottom face, the receiver “ACTIVE” light will be keep lighting 3 seconds to memory the newly ID code into receiver, after “ACTIVE” light off that mean is the ID setting process is OK and the keyboard can be use again. NOTE: ‹ You may need a pencil tip or other small tip to press the CONNECT button. USERS MANUAL Page 2 of 6 ‹ The process of pressing two Buttons (Keyboard & Receiver) must be completed within 10 seconds. 3. The battery life will depend on the time you use every day, normally the battery can be use almost 2-3 months in two alkaline AA type batteries. ¾ Why the keyboards have no function after I change or replace battery? That is ID code loss problem; you just follow the ID setting procedure to setup again ¾ Why the loss character problem happen when I typing? That have many reasons will be cause this problem, please follow below check list to find out the problem and solve it. a. Did your battery life out of the date? Change to new two alkaline AA type batteries and do the ID setting again. b. Did other similar Radio Frequency product beside your computer? 9 Redo the ID setting again. 9 Try to move your keyboard receiver away another receiver to increase the anti-interference ability, of cause we design this amazing ability in-side our product but we can not guarantee it have 100% ability from any interference source. Note. Please kindly to check the specification in the effective range in radio transmit, that mean you can not move your receiver out this range with your keyboard. c. Operational Description

Operational Description for USB Wireless Keyboard, FCC ID: L2BACEKEY82K The EUT is USB Wireless Keyboard, FCC ID: L2BACEKEY82K, model rfKEY. It consists of one wireless transmitter supplied from DC 3V (Battery size AA 1.5Vx2). One receiver connected to USB port rated DC5V from PC is used as corresponding peripheral device. The radio frequency of EUT is 27.045MHz. About the EUT installation is listed as below: (A) Power the EUT by putting two batteries (size: AA; DC 1.5V×2) to the battery room in the bottom side of keyboard. (B) Plug the receiver USB connector to PC USB port. (C) Turn on PC to operate EUT then complete software installation to enable EUT programmable media keys and multimedia function keys. EUT Description and Test Methods (A) The EUT is USB Wireless Keyboard, FCC ID: L2BACEKEY82K, model rfKEY. The EUT consists of one wireless transmitter supplied from DC 3V (Battery size AA 1.5V ×2). One receiver connected to USB port rated DC5V from PC was used as corresponding peripheral device for the test. The EUT radio frequency is 27.045MHz. The effective transmitting distance of EUT system is approximate 6 feet. We located both EUT transmitter and corresponding peripheral receiver on turntable under test. For more detail information about the EUT, please refer to the user’s manual. (B) Test Method: Including EUT transmitter and corresponding peripheral receiver link with PC system were setup as a complete test system on turntable. The receiver is connected to USB port of PC system and the PC operating system was setup to detect and drive every peripheral devices including EUT. Then, we pressed “H” key on the transmitter to enable RF keyboard under Control panel of WIN98 for Tx-On Mode, and ran “EMITEST” for Tx-Off Mode, and the worst-case test data as ANSI C63.4 requirement was recorded and provided in this report. (C) Test Mode: (1) For Conducted EMI---“Tx-Off” Mode (2) For Radiated EMI---“Tx-On” and “Tx-Off” Mode (D) At the frequencies where the peak values of the emission exceeded the quasi-peak limit, the emissions were also measured with the quasi-peak detectors. The average detector also measured the emission either (A) quasi-peak values were under quasi-peak limit but exceeded average limit, or (B) peak values were under quasi-peak limit but exceeded average limit. (E) Due to EUT system is Desktop type not handheld type, only one orthogonal plane is tested for detecting the required EMI testing data.
