Operational Description

Circuit Description The 434MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q1 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by IC. The output of Q1 has the matching network consisting of L3 and C8 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source There is no external antenna connected. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 3Volt (“AAA” size battery x 2) primary storage cell.

Test Report

From FCC Part 15.231(e), Devices operated under the provisions of this section shall be provided with a means for automatically limiting operation so that the duration of each transmission shall not be greater than one second and the silent period between transmissions shall be at least 30 times the duration of the transmission bat in no case less than 10 seconds. Since the EUT of each transmission is 700 msec. so the silent period must not less than 21 sec. (700 msec x 30) Figure 1 and 2 show the duration of each transmission 700 msec and silent period. (30.3 sec.)
