Operational Description

0713+0714 Manual Setting the Switches The chime’s adjustable channel switch helps prevent other transmitters or radio devices from sounding the chime. Before initial operation take care to ensure that the channel switches on the transmitter and the receiver are in the same position. 1. Set the switch on the back side of the receiver: Dip switch no. 1 – 4 must be the same as that on the transmitter 2. Remove the transmitter back cover, and set the switch in the transmitter to the same position as the switch in the receiver. 3. Pin-Header in the transmitter can be set to two different positions. As a result, the receiver will give off two different chime sounds (big bang or ding-dong ding- dong). Installing the Batteries After you have set the channel switch, install the batteries. The chime’s receiver requires three C-size batteries. To install the receiver’s batteries, remove the compartment cover and then install the receiver’s batteries. Be sure that to observe correct polarity (+ and -) as marked inside the battery compartment. The chime’s transmitter requires a 12V battery. To install the transmitter’s battery, open the back cover of the transmitter and insert the battery. Mounting the transmitter 1. Use the back cover of the transmitter as a template to mark two screw holes. 2. Drill two holes in the marketed locations. 3. Secure the cover to the mounting location by two supplied mounting screws. 4. Put transmitter unit onto the cover.
