Columbia, MD. 21046 Attention: Authorization and Evaluation Division Subject: RFI related modifications incorporated into unit with - FCC ID: LLA-TC2000 Date: Nov. 3, 1999 Dear Sirs: This letter serves as our declaration that all modifications listed below were implemented in the sample submitted for testing. We further declare that the same modifications will be implemented into all production units to enhance compliance of the units to FCC limits. The modifications include the following: 1. Added a ferrite core on the IDE signal cable of the EUT. (see photo 7) 2. Added a ferrite core on the power DC output cable of the EUT. (see photo 7) 3. Added two ferrite cores on the two DC power output cables each with 3 turns. (see photo 14) 4. Added a ferrite core on the LED wires with 2 turns. (see photo 8) 5. Added a ferrite core on the mouse cable. (see photo 1) 6. Added a metal plate on the solder side of the main board. (see photo 8) 7. Added two bead cores and one capacitor on the solder side of the main board for electrical improvement only and not for EMI. They will be built into the component side after the circuit re-layout.
