Refer to your Bluetooth ® device’s user manual or technical support to determine if your Bluetooth ® device supports these profi les. ■ Frequency band used This unit uses the 2.4GHz frequency band, however other devices may use this frequency as well. To avoid interference with other wireless devices, please follow the cautions listed below. ■ Certifi cation of this device This unit conforms to frequency restrictions and has received certifi cation based on frequency laws, so a wireless permit is not necessary. Operational Description

Technical Description The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a Pocket Size Wireless Speaker and Speakerphone. It can pair with a Bluetooth device as the audio source. The Bluetooth module in the EUT is operating in the frequency range from 2402MHz to 2480MHz (79 channels with 1MHz channel spacing). The EUT is powered by internal 3.7VDC Ni-MH rechargeable battery which can be charged by 5VDC from USB port. The USB cable is integrating with 3.5 mm phone plug which can accept external analog input source. Moreover, the EUT can receive phone call when it is pairing with the mobile device by Bluetooth function. 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Module: Modulation Type: GFSK Antenna Type: Integral, Internal (PCB Trace) Frequency Range: 2402MHz - 2480MHz, 1MHz channel spacing, 79 channels Nominal field strength is 93.9dB μV/m @ 3m Production Tolerance of field strength is +/- 2dB Antenna gain is +1dB The functions of main ICs are mentioned below: 1. Bluetooth module BM81SPK01NB2 (FP1): BM81SPK01NB2 (FP1) is Bluetooth module which consists of: 1) U1(IS1681S) acts as the 2.4GHz radio core of Bluetooth module FP1 (BM81SPK01NB2) which is integrating with audio CODEC. 2) 16MHz crystal (X1) provides clock for Bluetooth RF IC IS1681S (U1). 3) U2 (24C32) is serial EEPROM for parameter backup of U1 (IS1681S). 2. Moreover, the EUT can receive phone call when it is pairing with the mobile device by Bluetooth function. Antenna Type: Internal integral (PCB Trace) Antenna Gain: +1dB Nominal rated field strength: 93.9dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 2dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 95.9dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 2.4GHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 1.2mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) - Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power = 0.9mW.
