Power Ranger logo 248354 Radio-Controlled Vehicle Operating Instructions INSTALLATION OF BATTERIES Receiver • Unscrew the battery cover • Insert 3 X AA alkaline batteries with the positive (+) and negative (-) ends facing in the proper direction as indicated • Replace the cover. Transmitter • Unscrew the battery cover • Insert one 9V alkaline battery with the positive (+) and negative (-) ends facing in the proper direction as indicated • Replace the cover. SAFETY BATTERY USAGE • Do not use rechargeable batteries; • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged; • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed; • Only batteries of same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used; • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity; • Exhausted batteries are not to be short-circuited; • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries my explode or leak. • Batteries should be replaced by an adult. CAUTION: • Not suitable for children under 3 years. • May contain small parts. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire; batteries may explode or leak. CARING FOR YOUR DEVICE • Your device has been fully adjusted prior to shipment from the factory. Be sure not to touch the internal components other than replacing batteries. • After use, always turn the power to the ‘OFF’ position. • Keep your set in a dry and clean place. • In most cases, unit malfunctions occur because of weak batteries. Time ForceVehicle (Receiver) ON/OFF – To turn the unit on/off. Wing Release– Press to release wings. Time Brace Handset (Transmitter) Antenna Lock – Press to pop out the antenna. Forward – Press to let the vehicle goes forward. Reverse/Turn – Press and the unit will turn reverse. TO START 1. Transmitter - Switch the ON/OFF button to ‘ON’ position and pop out the antenna. 2. Receiver – Switch the ON/OFF button to ‘ON’ position. 3. Press the “Forward” button on the Time Brace Handset to move the Time Force Vehicle forward. Press the “Reverse/Turn” button to move the vehicle in a reverse left direction. HELPFUL HINT When the Time Force Vehicle fails to respond to the commands of the Time Brace Handset, it may be due to interference caused by other radio signals. Try moving to a different location, outside the range of the interference, to resume play. If the problem persists, it is time to change the batteries. . REMARK: Modifications not authorized b the manufacturer may void users authority to operate this device. LIMITED 90 DAY WARRANTY MGA Entertainment warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, improper or abnormal usage, negligence, leaking batteries, improper service or other causes not arising from defects in material or workmanship. During this 90 day warranty period, the product will be either repaired or replaced (at MGA’s option) at no charge to the purchaser, when returned to either the retailer with the original sales receipt (containing date of purchase) or to MGA. The foregoing states the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty with respect to the product. All product returned to MGA must be shipped prepaid and insured for loss or damage to: MGA Entertainment Repair Department 16730 Schoenborn Street North Hills, CA 91343-6122 Any returned product should be carefully packed in packing material sufficient to avoid damage during shipment. Please include a written description of the defect, a copy of the original sales receipt (containing date of purchase) and your printed name, address and telephone number. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Operational Description

FCC ID: LU9248354 Circuit Description The 27.145MHz crystal oscillator drives the base of Q4 the final/buffer amplifier. The modulation provided by Q1 and Q2. The output of Q4 has the matching network consisting of L4 and C13 that limit the harmonic content and effect the proper coupling of the antenna to the output stage. Antenna, Ground and Power Source The antenna consists of a 9cm long telescoping chrome over brass tubing. There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by a 9 Volt (“6F22” size battery x 1) primary battery

FCC ID: LU9248354 Duty Cycle Correction During 100 msec: Each functions key sends a different series of characters, but each packet period (86 msec) will not exceeds a series of 33 long (1.38 msec) and short (1.23 msec) Assuming any combination of short or long pulse may be obtained due to encoding the worse case transmit duty cycle would be considered 33x1.38 msec per 86 msec = 53% duty cycle.
