Remote Control THUMB SCREW Fi g. 5 Before using your wireless remote device it must be paired with your iOS or Android phone. Here’s how: 1. After installing the battery, move the ON/OFF switch on the device to ON. (Fig. 1). The LED indicator light will flash. 2. Activate the wireless remote function on your phone by going to SETTINGS, tapping on “Bluetooth”, then tapping on “AB shutter 3” in your device list. The device will automatically pair with your phone in a few seconds. 3. The camera app built into your phone will now allow you to take photos by pressing on the larger button for iOS phones or the smaller button for Android Phones. 4. Loosen thumb screw and adjust phone to desired angle, then re-tighten screw. (Fig. 5) 1. Pull top of phone clamp upward and hold clamp open. (Fig. 4) 2. Fit cell phone into area as shown with screen facing outward. (Fig. 4) 3. Release phone clamp and make sure cell phone is firmly in place before proceeding. (Re-fit phone if necessary.) Fi g. 4 5. Hold Stick with one hand near camera clamp one hand at end of stick then twist in opposite directions to unlock telescoping portion of stick. 6. Expand telescoping portion of Stick as desired then twist ends of stick in opposite directions to lock into place. (Stick expands from 9” to 22 ½”. ) 7. Line up your selfie shot and press button on the bluetooth to take a photo. It integrates the high-performance transceiver, rich features baseband processor, and Bluetooth HID profile. Analysis Report The equipment under test (EUT) is a 2.4GHz Bluetooth 3.0 wireless remote device (i.e. Selfie Snaps). The EUT is powered by a 3VDC (CR2032). The Bluetooth module in the EUT is operating in the frequency range from 2402MHz to 2480MHz (79 channels with 1MHz channel spacing). The EUT contains 2 buttons, one is the iOS button and the other one is the Android button. After pairing with the ios/Android devices, you will be able to take photos by press these buttons. Antenna Type: Internal antenna Antenna Gain: 0dBi Nominal rated field strength: 85.2 dBμV/m at 3m Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance: +/- 3dB According to the KDB 447498: Based on the Maximum allowed field strength of production tolerance was 88.2dBμV/m at 3m in frequency 2.4GHz, thus; The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2*1000 / 30] = 0.198mW Conducted power = Radiated Power (EIRP) – Antenna Gain So; Conducted Power =0.198mW. The SAR Exclusion Threshold Level: = 3.0 * (min. test separation distance, mm) / sqrt(freq. in GHz) = 3.0 * 5 / sqrt (2.480) mW = 9.53 mW Since the above conducted output power is well below the SAR Exclusion threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing.
