The EUT is powered by 3V d.c. (2 x 1.5V โAAAโ battery). It has the sensor which measures the temperature and periodically transmit the temperature information to the receiver. The duration of each data transmission is less than 300ms and the silent period between the transmissions is greater than 20s. Also, it has channel switch which allow the user to select one of the three channels. The temperature measurement can be in degree Celsins or Fahrenheit.
