CM-10 / LT-100 STEREO FM TRANSMITTER INSTRUCTION MANUAL CANADA ‘’ Operation of this device is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause interference and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.’’ USA “This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation of this device is subject to the following two conditions:(1) this device may not cause harmful interference; and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.’’ 200903-100 DECADE 2 2 Introduction Thank you for purchasing one of the fine products made by DECADE transmitters. Before using it, please read this manual carefully in order to obtain the best possible results from your transmitter. Description The CM-10 / LT-100 is a consumer grade low power FM transmitter operating in the commercial FM band (88.1 - 107.5 MHz). It is especially designed for in- house broadcasting, gyms and fitness centres and small rooms for a variety of entertainment, hearing assistance, translation, and information applications. Its excellent RF and audio performances, small size and ease of use make the CM-10 / LT-100 stand out from all the other consumer grade FM transmitters on the market. Operation 1 - Extend the telescopic antenna. 2 - Connect a line level audio source to the line input, or a microphone to the microphone input. 3 - Use the Up and Down push buttons to select transmitting frequency. 4 - Using an FM receiver tuned to the transmitting frequency, adjust the line level or microphone level in order to obtain a good sound on the receiver. The sound level at the receiver should be loud enough, but not too loud to avoid disortion. Warranty The CM-10 / LT-100 transmitter comes with a one (1) year warranty that covers parts replacement and labour required to repair any defects resulting from the manufacturing process. All claims must be authorized by DECADE prior to shipment of a faulty unit for repair. Shipping fees are assumed by the client and DECADE will pay for the return of the repaired unit. Warning Any changes or modifications to the software or equipment that are not expressly approved by Decade Transmitters Inc. could void the manufacturer’s warranty, and could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. 3 3 Decade Transmitters inc. is not responsible for any financial loss or violation of local laws resulting in the utilisation of their transmitters. This transmitter operates on the 88.1 MHz - 107.5 MHz commercial FM broadcast band, so signals transmitted can be received on any standard FM receiver. Thus, some care should be taken in the use made out of this transmitter. The FCC legislate the use of FM transmitters in USA and the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) and IC (Industry Canada) legislate the use of FM transmitters in Canada. No licence is required for the use of this FM transmitter in Canada and USA.
