This module is based on MTK MT7650U solution .It fully complies with IEEE 802.11n,IEEE 802.11 a/b/g and ,IEEE 802.11 ac standards,!Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, v3.0 standard, offering feature-rich wireless connectivity at high standards, and delivering reliable, cost-effective throughput from an extended distance. Optimized RF architecture and baseband algorithms provide superb performance and low power consumption. Intelligent MAC design deploys a high efficient DMA engine and hardware data processing accelerators which offloads the host processor. 3.1 Application scope The wireless LAN is compliant to IEEE 802.11n,IEEE 802.11 a/b/g and IEEE 802.11 ac standards . The data rate of 802.11b is up to 11Mbps and fallback rates of 5.5, 2, 1Mbps. The data rate of 802.11a/g is up to 54Mbps and fallback rates of 48,36,24,18,12,9, 6Mbps. The requirements of Public Notice DA00-1407 have been met and shown on the following statements. 1. “The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding.” The radio portion of this module has been shielded, please see exhibition External Photo. 2. “The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs.” The EUT has buffered data inputs, it is integrated in chip MT7650U. 3. “The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation.” The part number of this regulator is MT7650U. 4. “The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of section 15.203 and 15.204(C).” The EUT meets the FCC antenna requirements. The spurious emission, unique antenna connector and photo of antennas are shown in the test report. 5. “The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration” The EUT was tested in a stand-alone configuration via a USB extender. FCC ID: MCLJ20H081 Report No.: RF130904E05 Operational Description This device is a 802.11ac/abgn/BT wireless module, which operates in both of the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands and can’t transmitting simultaneously, the maximum data rate could be up to 433.3Mbps which OFDM technique. If the signal to noise radio is too poor which could not support 433.3Mbps, the 11Mbps data rate with DSSS technique will be applied. The transmitter of the EUT is powered DC 5V±5%. The antennas provided to the EUT, please refer to the following table: The other instruction, please have a look at the users manual. FCC 15.407(c) states: The device shall automatically discontinue transmission in case of either absence of information to transmit or operational failure. These provisions are not intended to preclude the transmission of control or signaling information or the use of repetitive codes used by certain digital technologies to complete frame or burst intervals. Applicants shall include in their application for equipment authorization a description of how this requirement is met” Data transmission is always initiated by software, which is then pass down through the MAC, through the digital and analog baseband, and finally to the RF chip. Several special packets (ACKs, CTS, PSPoll, etc...) are initiated by the MAC. There are the only ways the digital baseband portion will turn on the RF transmitter, which it then turns off at the end of the packet. Therefore, the transmitter will be on only while one of the aforementioned packets are being transmitted.
