TCB TÜV America Inc 10040 Mesa Rim Road San Diego CA 92121 Declaration of Compliance to RF Exposure Limits for Humans The Digi Wi-SP, Model 50001312-xx complies with the RF exposure limits for humans as called out in CFR 47 Part 2.1091 Radiofrequency radiation exposure evaluation: mobile devices. (> 20 cm) The Digi Wi-SP is an 802.11b 11 Mbit 2.4-2.4835 GHz radio transceiver to single serial port converter used for wireless communications in personal computers. It is exempt from routine RF evaluation because the fundamental transmit signal operates above 1.5 GHz and emits less than 3 watts. The maximum peak output power is 0.2306 watts (conducted measurement) at 2.412 GHz. Maximum field strength limit for uncontrolled exposure = 1 mW / cm² FS = (TP x NG) / (4 π r²) FS = (0.2306 W x 1.585) / (4 π 20²) = 0.0727 mW / cm² Whereas; FS = Field strength TP = Transmit power NG = Numerical gain of 2 dBi gain antenna r = 20 cm minimum distance from operator Joel T.
