Thank you!! Best Regards Amanda -----Original Message----- From: Compliance Certification Services [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, October 21, 2005 4:17 PM To: Helen Zhao Subject: Senao International Co., Ltd., FCC ID: NI3-UB36005001, Assessment NO.: AN05T5241, Notice#1 Question #1: The device comes with three dipole type antennas: 5dBi, 2dBi and 0.97dBi. The test report indicates radiated spurious emission and bandedge test was tested with 2dBi instead of 5dBi, the highest gain. Please explain. Ans: It's typo and report has been revised. (This device has applied FCC and CE at the same time. For CE portion, only 2dBi was applied. During radiation test, 5dBi antenna was tested firstly and then 2dBi antenna.) We attach the revised setup photos here too Question #2: The user manual indicates this device support multiple-domain. Is it controlled by software? Is the control accessible to end users? Please explain how the applicant will prevent the end users in US from using unauthorized frequency bands. Ans: It would be disable by firmware before placing on USA market. Question #3: This is a mobile device, please add the following RF exposure statement into the user manual: "The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons". Ans: The userman had been revised that added RF exposure statment into it, please see the attchment.
