The ~600mS transmission is made up of a 400mS 50% duty cycle start signal, a registration signal, a control signal and a stop signal. Depending on the Mode of operation, following the first transmission, a second signal identical to the first may be transmitted following a delay of up to 1 second. The two ~600mS long transmissions are in full compliance with Section 15.321(a)2 in that the transmitter sending pure control information must stop transmission within 5 seconds after activation.
