American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 April 27, 2006 RE: FCC ID: O3L-PT2005-MF_ATCB003419 Attention: Sam Chien I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the test procedure on page 9 of the FCC test report states that the receive antenna was raised and lowered 1-4 meters. Please note that this is a requirement for frequencies above 30MHz where a broadband antenna is usually used and is not a requirement for loop antenna measurements below 30MHz. It is only necessary to change the axis of the loop antenna. Please explain. 2. Please note that while a magnetic loop antenna is listed in the test instrumentation, the test procedures for the fundamental do not indicate what type antenna was used. Please confirm that a magnetic loop antenna was used to measure all frequencies below 30MHz. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Actually loop antenna at fixed 1m height with plane vertical and rotated about its vertical axis for maximum response. Then change to plane horizontal and record the spectrum level. 2. Please note that while a magnetic loop antenna is listed in the test instrumentation, the test procedures for the fundamental do not indicate what type antenna was used. Please confirm that a magnetic loop antenna was used to measure all frequencies below 30MHz. Ans: Please see page 9 and 14 of “FCC report-revised”.
