(2)Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation. 2.Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliancecouldvoidtheuser'sauthoritytooperatetheequipment. NOTE: ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsare designedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation. SARInformationStatement Yourwirelessphoneisaradiotransmitterandreceiver.Itisdesignedandmanufacturednottoexceedtheemissionlimitsforexposureto radiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederalCommunicationsCommissionoftheU.S.Government.Theselimitsarepartofcomprehensiveguidelinesand establishpermittedlevelsofRFenergyforthegeneralpopulation.Theguidelinesarebasedonstandardsthatweredevelopedbyindependentscientific organizationsthroughperiodicandthoroughevaluationofscientificstudies.Thestandardsincludeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethesafety ofallpersons,regardlessofageandhealth.TheexposurestandardforwirelessmobilephonesemploysaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecific AbsorptionRate,orSAR.TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.*TestsforSARareconductedwiththephonetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpower levelinalltestedfrequencybands.AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARlevelofthephonewhileoperatingcan bewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreach thenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepoweroutput.Beforeaphonemodelisavailableforsaletothe public,itmustbetestedandcertifiedtotheFCCthatitdoesnotexceedthelimitestablishedbythegovernmentadoptedrequirementforsafeexposure.
