SK TECH CO., LTD. Page 1 of 2 SKT SKTOS-00119 FCC ID : XXXFP-3000 Operational Description Section 1 : Overall installation procedure 1. Turn on system. 2. Connect fingerprint identification device or wheel mouse to the system.(for mouse, USB port must be connected in advance of PS/2) 3. A message of inserting CD will appear by operation of Window 98 Plug & Play when it senses new hardware. 4. Insert ‘MagicSecure 2.0’ CD into CD ROM Drive, and then follow hardware installation wizard to install fingerprint identification device or wheel mouse. 5. When driver installation is finished, run setup.exe file to install MagicSecure 2.0 program. 6. Restart the system after installation, and logon with name and password typed during installation. 7. Authentication method can be changed to fingerprint, password or both by using MagicSecure administrator. Section 2 : Connection 1. Connect to USB Port 2. Connect to PS/2 Port Section 3 : Device driver Installation 1. Click <Next> in the ‘Add New Hardware Wizard’ window. 2. Select<Search for the best driver for your device > and then click ‘Next’. 3. Insert CD and select ‘CD ROM Drive’ and then click ‘Next’. 4. Installation will start if you click ‘Next’. 5. Click ‘Finish’. SK TECH CO., LTD. Click ’OK’, and then the installation will be proceeded. 2. Select ‘English’ and click ‘Next’. 3. You can install mouse application, mouse driver or both. If you want only application, select ‘Mouse application’ If you want only mouse driver, select ‘mouse driver’ and if you want both, select ‘Both’, Click ‘Next’. 4. Select ‘PS2 Port’ and click ‘Next’. 5. Click ‘Next’ if you want to install in said folder, if not, click ‘change folder’. 6. The system will restart by clicking ‘Finish’ button and all fingerprint identification mouse installation process will be completed.
