User press "CHA N" ke y to fi nd a clear channel. 2. The handset starts scan 3 preset channels and store channel infor ma tion i nto Bit0 to Bit2 o f "CHAN REGISTER". 3. Then handset will send "CHAN REGISTER" command to base unit and waiting for the response from base unit. 4. Base unit scan through all channels and waiting for the "CHAN REGISTER" co mma nd. 5. Once received the "CHAN REGISTER" command it will perform a logic and operation to "CHAN REGISTER" to find out the best channel. 6. Once the best channel is found, base unit will send the best channel ifti b kt th h d t 6. Once the handset received the best channel information it will wait for a set ti me to s tart tra ns mission with the base unit at the best channel. N 6.
