SKAA User’s Manual For all SKAA part numbers including PL5553, PL5554, PL5556 and PL5561 SKAA TM transmitters each support up to four SKAA receiver units at the same time. The SKAA logo guarantees compatibility between transmitters and receivers. Green List ‐ All SKAA receivers have a Green List which is just a list of your favorite transmitters. The first time you use a receiver, the Green List is empty, so you need to Double Click the SKAA button to hunt for a new transmitter. If your receiver consists of two or more wireless units, (for example, a left speaker and a right speaker) we call that a Cluster. The unit with the SKAA button is the Master of the Cluster and it is where the Green List is kept. Each unit uses three LED colors to communicate SKAA status: green, amber and red. SKAA TM is a trademark of Eleven Engineering Incorporated. Please visit www.SKAA.com. Common SKAA Commands Command Button LED Hunt through Green List (look for favorite transmitters) Single Click Hunting (Flash) Green List # Bonded Explore; hunt for new transmitters Double Click Hunting Bonded Add / delete transmitter from Green List Hold for 3 seconds Æ Added (Flash) Deleted Automatically add transmitter to Green List by listening continuously for 30 minutes. ‐ Æ Added More SKAA Commands Command Button LED When hunting through green list, stop at the current green list entry and continue to look solely for that transmitter Single Click Hunting (Flash) Green List # Bonded Mute Triple Click Flashing If muted, unmute Single Click Returns to previous Erase the Green List; start over Click 6 times Flashes To make a Cluster of receivers: 1. power on Master while holding down SKAA button (hold button until red LED starts flashing) 2. power on remaining receiver units 3. once LED on Master becomes solid (stops flashing), turn off the Master and all other receiver units Hold during power on. Note ‐ only receiver units from the same manufacturer and product family may become a Cluster (Flashing) Master has entered cluster up mode Cluster has been successfully made FCC Statement: Federal Communication Commission Interference Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
