MCW-D 50-3 Product Description Functional Principle The system operates with wireless communication in the 2.4GHz ISM frequency range. For modulation it uses Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum modulation. There are a max. of 3 possible duplex RF channels that can be used simultaneously. Each RF module represents a single duplex RF channel, where control and audio data on three different streams can be sent by time domain multiplex operation. The control unit receives the requests from each table unit on a communication channel and then allocates the table units using remote control (via RS 232 interface) or by internal processing. MCW-D 50-3 supports up to three simultaneously speaking microphone units, employing a single RF module. MCW-D 50-3 contains: ƒ Main board B24-755 ƒ One RF module “MAX II” ƒ DC bias supply B24-769 ƒ power supply unit Interfaces: ƒ RS 232 ƒ LAN ƒ Various audio in- and outputs Center frequencies are: • 2412MHz • 2442MHz • 2462MHz There are two different antennas for the system: • CA 2411 lambda/2 rod antenna • CA 2413 Planar Antenna The main board contains a micro controller PIC 16LF877A @10MHz. The main board also contains a TI DSP TMS 320C6713 type for audio processing operating at 12.288MHz external clock speed (200MHz internally).
