Tune up procedure in ACT210 To set up transmit power before shipping, AnyDATA uses a manufacturing process named “Calibration of RX and TX power”. In calibration process, the rated voltage of 3.5VDC is applied to the module to be calibrated. CDMA band tune up procedure (HDET Feedback Loop Operation) CDMA technical standard requires AnyDATA’s CDMA capable modules to transmit +23~+24.5dBm output power when it is required to transmit its maximum power. AnyDATA sets the maximum power of the module in CDMA bands to +24dBm (+0.5dB, ‐1dB) in calibration bench and verify the maximum power in manufacturing test bench. In CDMA HDET (High Power Detection) calibration process using a base station simulator such as Agilent 8960 or R&S CMU200, the module records and saves HDET value corresponding to maximum transmit power level and use the value in operation to limit the maximum power to +24dBm (+0.5dB, ‐1dB). Bluetooth band tune up procedure (pre‐programming in factory) Bluetooth technical standard requires AnyDATA’s embedded firmware to transmit +5~+10dBm output power when it is required to transmit its maximum power. AnyDATA sets the maximum limitation power of the BT Transmitter to +10dBm (+0.5dB, ‐1dB) in firmware and verify the maximum power in manufacturing test bench.
