As you know, a car supply 12V DC, but the device needs DC12V and DC 5V for operating, so the device shall be use DC/DC Converter. I think it is not easy to buy the AC/DC Adapter supplying DC 5V and 12V simultaneously for use in home and the port is not normal shape. The port for special type is for using a car battery, so the test for that port was exempt. --> 2) Powered by PC through USB cable. Following information is indicated in the manual Page 1. The device has a switcher for operating HDD and USB port. When use the USB port(rear side), the Part 15C function can't operated.
