BLUETOOTH BOOM BOX Brand Name: OUTDOOR TECH Model Name: ODT BIG TURTLE SHELL FCC ID: PGWTURTLESHELL 1: ANATOMY Volume / Track Control Raise Volume by Pressing >> Lower Volume by pressing << Skip forward by holding >> for 1 – 2 seconds Skip backward by holding << for 1 – 2 seconds Multi-Function Button: Music/Calls Press once to Play/Pause OR Answer/Hang up 2: POWER For best audio experience, please fully charge your ODT Big Turtle Shell before use. Charge ODT Big Turtle Shell via adopter included in the package. Low Battery – Led indicator flash red or the speaker will say “ Charging me” Charging – Plug the ODT Big Turtle Shell into your wall charger via adopter included in the package Red indicator will light Fully Charged – Red indicator off Battery prompt—Press Power button twice Power out: ODT Big Turtel Shell suport POWER OUT(5V 1A) function and can used as powerbank. Use your cable and charge your device via power out port. Note: It’s takes about 3 hours to fully charge the ODT Big Turtel Shell. 3.CONNECT 3.1:Pair the first devie Power on ODT Big Turtle Shell then it will in the pairing mode Prepare your phone or device—Turn on Bluetooth iPhone,iPod, or iPad: Settings > General > Enable Bluetooth Andriod: Settings > Wireless& Networks > Bluetooth Settings Blackberry: Settings/Options > Bluetooth >Enable Bluetooth Other Cell Phones: Review the instruction manual that came with your phone or Google it. 3.2Pair the second device Press both << and >> buttons for 3s, then will hear “ pairing”. After successfully paired with second device, reconnect the first device by hand then the two device will be successfully paired at the same time. 3.3 Pairing by NFC 3.3.1. Turning on the ODT Big Turtel Shell and then enter into the paring mode. 3.3.2. Prepare your NFC supported device and swipe the NFC area in the ODT Big Turtle Shell to detect the device and then it will complete the paring automatically. 4. LISTEN The ODT Big Turtle Shell is built to go anywhere, but for optimal sound quality follow the steps below: >Make sure ODT Big Turtle Shell is resting on its base and facing upwards >When connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, it’s best to turn the volume on your phone/device fully up and when use the volume control (<< / >>) on the ODT Big Turtle Shell >When connected via 3.5mm stereo input, your phone/device may distort the audio signal if turned up too loud, Turn down the volume on your phone/devide before adjusting the volume on ODT Big Turtle Shell. Note: 3.5mm Audio in and Audio out to another ODT Big Turtle Shell is supported 5.TALK: The built in microphone means that the ODT Big Turtle Shell can be used as a wireless speakerphone. Just speak in direction of the top grill *NOTE : The built-in microphone only works when connected via Bluetooth >Answer or end a call: Press the multifunction button to answer or end a call. >Decline a call: Press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds >Make a call: Use your phone to dial as usual. Listen and talk through the ODT Big Turtle Shell Redial Last Number: Press << button and multifunction button at the same time Mute: Hold the >> and << Buttons for 2 seconds. Or until you hear mute on 6 SPECIFICATION Battery life : Music playing for 5 hours, standby time about 700 hours. *Battery life varies subject to different playing circumstance such as music type or volume  Bluetooth Compliance : v4.0&v3.0  Speaker : 4Ω,rated power 3W/max power 5W x2  Weight : about 1020g  Bluetooth Range: Up to 30 feet from device Hearing Distortion A. Lower the volume on your ODT Big Turtle Shell and /or phone /device B. Make sure it’s charged up. Check for low battery, then charge if necessary. Not Loud Enough A. Turn up the volume on your phone/device or your Turtle Shell. B. Make sure it’s charged up C. Plug the ODT Big Turtle Shell in to your phone/device via 3.5mm stereo cable Unable to Pair A. Confirm your phone /device is Bluetooth compatible B. Re-Pair :Follow pairing instructions in this Guide Signal Loss or Dropouts via Bluetooth A. Move ODT Big Turtle Shell closer to your phone/device B. Make sure it’s charged up C. Turn off your ODT Big Turtle Shell and Phone/Device, then power up and reconnect.
