Please proceed with the review . 2.1047 Modulation Characteristics Measurements Required: The EUT is a bi-directional amplifier and has no provision to modulate the signals. The modulation is dictated by the CDMA protocol. The specifications of Paragraph 2.1047 and applicable parts of 22, and 24 are met. Intermodulation Characteristics Three continuous wave signals were injected, in turn, to the uplink and downlink via a three-way power combiner. Two signals were close together and in the center of the band. The output of each signal generator was adjusted so that the three output fundamental frequencies were equal in magnitude. At the input power levels used all intermodulation products were at -45 dBm or below. Refer to figure below showing the intermodulation characteristics. Due to the location of the antenna, normal operating conditions and use, the unit will satisfy the requirements for RF Exposure per FCC rule 1.1310. Calculations are made here for completeness. SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE CALCULATION Calculations per 2.1093 of CFR 47. These calculations are based upon a typical human figure as approximated below. The height is 5ā 8ā (173 cm.) and the weight is 160 lbs. (72.6kg). The calculated absorption cross section for this figure is 143 cm squared.
