Getting started Introduction Your SmartWatch 3 accessory, which is powered by Android Wear, organises your information, suggests what you need, and shows it to you before you even ask. Use it to receive and reply to messages, view appointment notifications, and glance at weather updates – all from the convenience of your wrist. There’s no need to reach for a phone or tablet as long as a Bluetooth ® connection has been established with your SmartWatch 3. Using voice commands, you can ask questions like “When is my next meeting?” or “How do I get to the train station?” and get straight answers. You can also, for example, use the SmartWatch 3 to keep track of your fitness with daily summaries showing your step count. And you can regularly add new apps from Google Play™ to extend functionality. Useful new apps and features are being added all the time as well as updates to existing apps that you’ve installed. You get automatic notifications when such updates are available. The SmartWatch 3 works with any Android™ phone or tablet running Android™ version 4.3 or higher. To see if your Android™ device is compatible for use with Android wear, go to http://g.co/WearCheck. To achieve full functionality and performance, use the wristband together with the main unit of the SmartWatch 3. Overview 1Microp…

SAR Information Declaration of Conformity Sony SWR50 Exposure to radio waves (SAR) When your device, the Wi-Fi hotspot functionality or the Bluetooth hands free functionality is turned on, it emits low levels of radio frequency energy (radio waves). The radio wave exposure guidelines employ a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. This device meets the international SAR limit guidelines and your device ́s SAR values are below these limits. The Specific Absorption Rate for your device is 0.86 W/kg averaged over 10g when worn on your wrist. SAR data information is provided for residents in countries that have adopted the SAR limit recommended by the International Commission of Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which is 2 W/kg averaged over ten (10) gram of body tissue or recommended by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), which is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one (1) gram of body tissue. Products used on limbs has a international limit based on ICNIRP recommendations at 4 W/kg averaged over ten (10) gram of body tissue. These requirements are based on scientific guidelines that include safety margins designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. Tests for SAR are conducted using standardized methods with the device tra nsmitting at its highest certified power level in all used frequency bands, but because the device is designed to use the minimum power necessary to access the chosen network, the actual SAR level can be well below this value. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various device models, they are all designed to meet the relevant guidelines for exposure to radio waves. Your device is used worn on your wrist and has been tested when positioned at 0 mm from the body without any metal parts in the vicinity of clock or when properly used with an appropriate accessory and worn on the wrist. The WHO (World Health Organization) has stated that current scientific information does not indicate the need for special precautions for the use of clocks. For more information about this topic, please refer to the WHO document (Memo No. 193, Electromagnetic Fields and Public Health, Mobile phones and their base stations), available at: http://who.int/emf . For further regional specific information about exposure to radio waves (SAR), ple ase find your region: 2 Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, USA & Virgin Islands (C A, GU, PR, US, VI) **Before a device is available for sale to the public in the US, it must be tested and certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that it does not exceed the limit established by the government-adopted requirement for safe exposure*. The tests are performed in positions and locations (i.e., by the ear wrist and worn on the body) as required by the FCC for each model. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this device with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various devices, all devices granted an FCC equipment authorization meet the government requirement for safe exposure. SAR information on this device is on file at the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of http://transition.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/ after searching on the FCC ID PY7–RD0090 for your device. Additional information on SAR can be found on the Mobile Manufacturers Forum EMF website at http://emfexplained.info/. ** This paragraph is only applicable to authorities and customers in the United States.
