Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and, 2) This device must accept any interference received including interference that may cause undesired operation. CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by ComLink Enterprises LTD could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. The CellPhone ComLink™ from ComLink Enterprises, L.L.C. is an advanced communications product that lets you enjoy convenient and safe Hands-Free and Wireless use of your cellphone. There is no need to hold the cellphone to your ear and you can keep both hands on the wheel. ComLink EarPiece FCC ID: QFDCL-001 EarPiece Batteries The ComLink EarPiece requires two "button" cells: Type 76 (Silver Oxide) or Type 357 (Silver Oxide) may be used. Insert each battery into the Battery Tray as shown in Figure 2. Insert the Battery Drawer into the ComLink EarPiece. Fig. 2 ComLink Battery Tray Earhook Snap the Earhook Loop onto the Post of the ComLink EarPiece. Reverse the Earhook for the opposite ear. Right EarLeft Ear ComLink Transmitter Transmitter Batteries The ComLink Transmitter requires two "button" cells: Type 76 (Silver Oxide) or Type 357 (Silver Oxide) may be used. Insert each battery into the Battery Tray as shown in the figure 2. Insert the Battery Drawer into the ComLink Transmitter. Connector Cable Plug the Transmitter Connector Cable into the "Audio Port" or "Headset Jack" of your CellPhone. Position the Transmitter on the back of your cellphone to determine the best location for the assembled Transmitter and Cable. Double-Stick Tape Placement Once you have determined the best Transmitter and Connector Cable location for your particular CellPhone, secure the Transmitter to the Back of the Cellphone with the supplied Double Stick Tape. Operation and Battery Life The ComLink Transmitter will turn on automatically when you make a call on your Cellphone. A few seconds after your Cellphone call ends, the ComLink Transmitter will enter "Standby Mode" in order to conserve battery life. The ComLink EarPiece is activated by pressing the oval pushbutton on its case. A few seconds after your Cellphone call ends, the ComLink EarPiece will enter "Standby Mode" in order to conserve battery life. Battery Life ComLink battery consumption is very low. Type 357 batteries will provide approximately 30 to 45 days of service if you use your cell phone between 30 to 60 minutes a day. Volume Control Use the Cellphone Volume Control to adjust the EarPiece sound level; for best sound quality, start with a medium volume setting. PROBLEM SOLVING If you hear no sound from your ComLink 1) Are the correct batteries being used?: Silver-Oxide types 76 or 357 for the Comlink EarPiece and Transmitter. 2) Are the batteries correctly inserted into the Battery Trays? -- See Figure 2. 3) Are the Battery Trays completely inserted into the Transmitter and EarPiece? 4) Is the connector cable plug fully inserted into the Cellphone Audio Port? 5) Is the Cellphone turned on and a call in progress? 6) Is the Cellphone Volume Control set high enough?
