Part Description Part: Carrier Residential Power Supply, 208/230 V Part #: 44000127 Functionality Description: The power supply receives a 208/230 VAC 60Hz line input. It rectifies the AC (alternating current) input to DC (direct current) at about 300V and smoothes it with an electrolytic capacitor. This DC voltage supplies the half bridge inverter circuit, which works around 45 kHz and which generates a high frequency voltage to operate the lamp (referred to as Emitter TM ). The output choke will stabilize the Emitter TM current to about 400mA. The capacitor, in parallel with the Emitter TM , helps to ignite the Emitter TM . When the inverter is working, it will light the LEDβs on the power supply to reflect the normal working condition of the power supply. Whenever there is a failure to cause the inverter to stop working, the LEDβs will turn off to reflect an abnormal condition.
