Manufacturer can not base upon end user to comply regulatory requirements. Attached please find FCC policy in dealing with user selectable channel. Manufacturer must incorporate a way to prevent the user to select the transmitting channel above Channel 11 ( 2462 MHz ). Please provide technical information on how to achieve above requirement. Ans #2: The user manual has been modified in page 41, specifing channel 12, 13 will be disabled by software and only Channel 1-11 are applicable. Please refer to it. Best regards, Ting Hi W. Question #2: Page 41 and 52 of user manual provide the information to the end user to choose the channel list based upon the location of usage. Page 41 only indicates that this device can be used for 13 channel operation. Please provide technical information on how the device will be restricted with 11 channel operation in the U.S. and prevent the end user to use any additional channel which are not authorized. Answer #2: The customer re-words the contents of "Caution" on Page 41 and asks us to directly submit it to you for your review. Please refer to the following file.
