Helen Zhao Subject: FW: Intec Inc., FCC ID: RDDINTECYRT, Assessment NO.: AN04T4313, Notice#3 1/7/2005 From: CCS(KS) - Eric Wong [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, January 07, 2005 2:25 AM To: Helen Zhao Cc: 'CCS(KS) - Eric Wong' Subject: RE: Intec Inc., FCC ID: RDDINTECYRT , Assessment NO.: AN04T4313, Notice#3 Hello Helen, Please find my reply below in BLUE Thank you!! BR, Eric Wong Question #1: Section 6 of the test report indicates that a PS2 was used as a supporting equipement, please explain the purpose to use this device, and why it was not shown up on the setup photos. This β controller β is operated by joint with the β receiver β ( β Receiver is filed separately with its own ID). As you may seen, the controller is just like a typical game-pad and its functionality is also the same. The β receiver β is connected with the PS2 and used for verification the operation of the β controller β before each testes. It didn β t show on the setup photo as the β receiver β has TX element. The PS2 is removed from the supporting device. FYI. Question #2: Fundamental test results have no limit associated with. Please revise. Please find the report with the revised data Question #3: Based upon 15.249(e) and 15.35(b), for frequencies above 1000 MHz, there are two limits specified: average limits and peak limit. When peak measurement exceeds average limit, average measurement is necessary. Please revise the test report to provide both peak and average measurements in that case. [Eric] Modification is made upon your comment. Question #4: Based upon 15.249(d), Emissions radiated outside of the specified frequency bands, except for harmonics, shall be attenuated by at least 50 dB below the level of the fundamental or to the general radiated emission limits in Section 15.209, whichever is the lesser attenuation. It seems the device fails to meet the requirement. Please use the correct limit and re-evaluate compliance. Please find the report with the revision upon your comment. Question #5: Please explain why FCC DoC logo is put on FCC ID label format. The DoC logo has been removed. Please find the revised label attached. Question #6: Please confirm whether the device is a TX only or a transceiver. If you believe it is a transceiver, please explain what kind of signal the device will receive. The signal to be received from the β receiver β is the signal enabling the vibration of the β controller β , for the enjoyment of the use. FYI. Question #7: Block Diagram includes controller and receiver. Please remove receive (identical page 2 and 3) from the file. Since the βcontrollerβ employing a transceiver module (thatβs also employed by the βreceiverβ, so both transmitter and receiver materials provided. [Helen Zhao] If you look at the block diagram carefully, you will find page 1(transmitter) has battery, page 2 (receiver) has PS2, so I believe page is for controller only, and page 2 for the recevier only. Please check again. Thank you, Helen Zhao Compliance Certification Services 561F Monterey Rd. Morgan Hill, CA 95037
