Box 370 Newberry, Florida 32669 Re.: Attestation of functionality of USB port regarding application for certification of FCC ID: RKT-BTBCV01 To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to confirm the functionality of the USB port found on the device bearing the above FCC ID. The USB port is not designed to be a peripheral deivce to a Class B personal computer. As such, the user shall not connect the USB port to a Class B personal computer during normal operation. The sole power source of the device is the internal 3.7V rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The only method of enabling power to the device is by pushbutton which is activated by the user. Therefore the device does not require a connection at the USB port to operate. The internal battery is charged by connecting the USB port to a Charge Station. While the battery is receiving electrical charging voltage, the device is inoperative. At the time of the AC Line Conducted Emission testing, the Charge Station was under development and therefore not available. A commerically available component, Targus Plug-N-Power Charging Station (Part #APA22) was used as a substitute in the test setup. Sincerely, CAST Group of Companies Inc.
