Compliance Certification Services and hereafter referred to as CCS, to act on our behalf in all manners relating to application for equipment authorization, including signing of all documents relating to these matters. Any and all acts carried out by CCS on our behalf shall have the same effect as acts of our own. We, the undersigned, hereby certify that we are not subject to a denial of federal benefits, that includes FCC benefits, pursuant to Section 5301 of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988, 21 U.S.C. 853(a). In authorizing CCS Testing Division as our agent, we still recognize that we are responsible to: a) comply with the relevant provisions of the certification program; b) make all necessary arrangements for the conduct of the evaluation, including provision for examining documentation and access to all areas, records (including internal audit reports) and personnel for the purposes of evaluation (e.g. testing, inspection, assessment, surveillance, reassessment) and resolution of complaints; c) make claims regarding certification only in respect of the scope for which certification has been granted; d) do not use our product certification in such a manner as to bring the Certification Division into disrepute and not make any statement regarding our product certification which the Certification Division may consider misleading or unauthorized; e) upon suspension or cancellation of certification, discontinue use of all advertising matter that contains any reference thereto and return any certification documents as required by the Certification Division;

Instead, please refer to below for the answer for addressing 5Qs. Question # 1 : Please indicate antenna type in "The answer to 7 questions". Ans.: Antenna type is integral loop antenna and has been added in "The anser to 7questions", Q2. and revised test report page4 as well Question # 2 : The test report shows 26dB bandwidth test was done at 88.3MHz only. Please provide the plots at 98MHz and 107.7 MHz. Ans. please refer to report page 9 and 10 for details. Question # 3 : The test configuration shown in section 7.1 of the test report is not a correct setup. The EUT can not be tested as stand alone in bandwidth test. FCC permit-but-ask procedure specifies "Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? Use a typical audio file from a typical device. e.g. do not use a 1 kHz signal from a signal generator." Please redo bandwidth test with correct setting and with maximum audio input. Ans. please refer to report page 9 and 10 for details. Question # 4 : FCC permit-but-ask procedure specifies "Was the tuning range properly verified? The test lab shouldindicate in the report that the tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range." Please manually verify the tuning range and put a statement into the test report. Ans.: Please see the statement under section 2. EUT DESCRIPTION. Question # 5 : Since the digital portion of this device is authorized through DoC, please add 15.105(b) statement into the manual. Ans.: 15.105(b) was added in last page of user manual, please refer to attached for details. How does this device operate? <Answer> The device is D! C powered through Vehicle lighter socket . And it is mostly operated in a car. 2. Provide information on the device and its antenna <Answer> The device is a FM transmitter and is designed to work seamlessly with iPod or any other portable audio device such as MP3 player. The device has a built ̈Cin internal antenna to transmit the signal. With the on-screen display and buttons, user can play / hear the playlist song of iPod or any suitable portable audio device like MP3 player from car''s FM stereo. 3. How is it installed? <Answer> Step 1. Turn on the device by plugging into the vehicle lighter socket. Step 2 .To connect this device with iPod or any suitable portable audio device like MP3. Step 3. To set the frequency ranging (FM transmitter) bet! ween 88.3 MHz to 107.7 MHz. Step 4. To set the frequency ranging of Car''s FM stereo (receiver) between 88.3 MHz to 107.7MHz. 4. What test procedure was used? <Answer> ANSI C 63.4. 5. If tested in a car, how was it configured/tested? <Answer> It was not tested in a car, it was tested in a open area test site and chamber, because the device does not use external antenna. Please refer to the test report for more details. 6. Was the tuning range properly verified? <Answer> Yes, the lowest channel is 88.3MHz, and the highest channel is 107.7MHz. The tuning controls were manually adjusted to verify maximum tuning range. Please also refer to test report page 4. 7. Was the bandwidth properly tested with maximum audio input? <Answer> Yes, The EUT has an audio input port, so the input port was connected to an iPod which was playing a MP3 song. The volume control of the iPod and the EUT were set to maximum f! or the testing. 8. Provide a test report. The report is attached. Please advise if it is OK to file 731.
