IVT Corporation 2014-3-17 Dear Application Examiner, {IVT Corporation, model: i40e, FCC ID: S78-IVTI40E}, would like to have your authorization as a modular approval specific to Bluetooth module. The requirements of Public Notice DA00-1407 have been met and shown on the following statements. 1. “The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding.”: {Device is equipped with metal shielding to cover RF section. Refer to photos. } 2. “The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs.”: {All inputs to the modules are buffered through logic and microprocessor inputs(BC417143B-IQN-E4) } 3. “The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation.”: {Module chipset incorporates voltage regulation to transceiver circuitry } 4. “The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of section 15.203 and 15.204(C).”: { The device has a fixed PCB antenna. } 5. “The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration”: { Device is tested in a test fixture in a standalone configuration } 6. “The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number.”: {FCC ID label format will be included in the filling. Host ID label will be displayed on the host system.} 7. “The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements.”: { Please refer to “User Manual” Exhibit } 8. “The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements.”: { RF exposure evaluation is exempted because of low output power (EIRP: 0.001W). } Please contact me if you have any further questions.
