RF Exposure Info

RF exposure compliance issues: This telemetry device is normally used only at fixed locations far away from persons. It is collecting data from various sensors and transmitting it through the 70cm transmitter. According to Supplement C of OET Bulletin 65 for mobile transmitters operating below 1,5 GHz evaluation is not required when the effective radiated power (ERP) is below or equal to 1,5 W. This device uses a maximum power output of 0,5 Watts, and omnidirectional antennas without antenna gain over dipole, so the ERP value is also equal to 0,5 Watts. So this device is excluded from routine evaluation. It must be operated only as fixed or mobile device not closer than 20cm to persons.
