RJE Technologies, Inc is proud to provide you with an additional layer of protection. Be aware, nothing replaces supervision and Safety This is not a life saving device. Set up instructions: The Safety Turtlebase should be placed in a window or area (indoors) that has full view of the pool. The Safety Turtle logo should be facing the pool. The base must be within 200 feet (60 meters) of the furthest point of the pool. Plug the USB cord into the side of the Safety Turtlebase (see diagram). Plug the USB plug into the power adapter or into a USB power supply. The power adapter can be plugged into any AC wall outlet. The green light will indicate the system is on (see diagram). To test the system, dip the Turtlesensor into water, standing at least ten (10) feet away from the base. Be sure to turn the base to face the testing area. The Turtlecan be wiped off to stop the signal being sent to the base. Press the reset button (see diagram) on the base to silence the alarm. It will alarm for three (3) minutes unless the reset button is pushed. The Turtlemust be dry or the alarm will start again. The base will show a red light (see diagram) when the alarm is sounding. A Turtlewill last from 3-5 years depending on use. The green power button will flash yellow if the Turtlebattery is low. The batteries cannot be replaced. The system can be safely stored off season in its protective box. To secure the wristband on a child’s wrist, thread the band through the latch and pull to desired tightness. Insert the key and turn to secure the band. The key must be used to remove the band. RJE Technologies, Inc does not recommend placing the band on a child’s ankle. Use the Velcro strap on the Pet Turtleto secure it to the pet’s collar. You are now ready and Safety Turtleis watching for you! Enjoy a safe swimming season.
