Please do not touch the cooking area. 2To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs, or the cooktop in water or other liquid. 3Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 4Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the cooktop. 5Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment. 6The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons. 7This electrical appliance is not recommended for use outdoors. 8Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. 9Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. 10To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove the plug from the wall outlet. 11Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use. 12Do not attempt to modify or extend the power cord of this appliance. 13Do not handle the plug with wet hands. This could result in an electric shock. 14Unplug the power cord by holding the plug, never by pulling the cord. 15This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. 16Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids. 17Household Use Only. 18Do not cook on a broken cooktop – If the cooktop should break, cleaning solutions and spills may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a risk of electric shock. 19Be careful when you clean the cooktop – If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking surface, be careful to avoid steam burn. Also, some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.
