Ages 8 and up Models: 17506, 17507 Available in both Metallic Silver/Green - 49MHz (A) & Metallic Silver/Orange - 49MHz (B) When using 2 R/C Water Soakers together, make sure they are not the same color to prevent crossing signals. R/C Water Soaker has full-function, and its battery operated radio controller navigates movement around the pool, elevates the shooting nozzle, and controls the soaking stream! It has a shooting distance of approximately 20 feet. The controller is water resistant up to 3 feet deep. This allows you to swim along and control your Soaker from below the surface of the water. It has underwater range of approximately 6 feet and a transmitter range of approximately 50 feet above the surface of the water. Transmitter uses: 1-9V alkaline battery (not included) R/C Water Soaker uses: 4-AA alkaline batteries (not included) or rechargeable NiMH battery (included with charger) INSTALLING BATTERIES No assembly is required before first time use. Battery installation is required. HOW TO INSTALL / CHANGE BATTERIES R/C WATER SOAKER CONTROLLER 1.To open use phillips screwdriver to loosen the 3 screws on the battery compartment cover and lift the cover to remove it. 2.Put one 9V alkaline battery in the compartment. Make sure that (+) and (-) poles are positioned properly. 3.Replace the battery cover and secure it with screws. Note: When the transmitter’s range decreases, replace its battery. R/C WATER SOAKER 1. When installing new batteries, make sure that the power is in the off position on the R/C Water Soaker. Turn power off by pressing the button located between the two propellers. The light next to the on/off switch will light up if the power is still on. 2. To open, use Phillips screwdriver and loosen 3 screws on plastic covering, labeled BATTERY COMPARTMENT. Once loosened, lift the plastic cover to remove it. 3. After plastic covering is removed, use Phillips screwdriver to loosen 3 screws on the battery compartment cover and lift cover to remove it. 4. Take out the battery compartment box from the battery compartment. 5. Place 4-AA alkaline batteries or 6.0V rechargeable battery into the battery box. 6. Depending on which battery source you are using: plug either the AA battery box connector or the 6.0V rechargeable battery connector into the R/C Water Soaker connector, as shown. 7. Make sure battery and connector are secure in the battery compartment. 8. Replace battery compartment cover and secure with screws, making sure wires are not pinched by the cover. 9. Replace plastic covering and secure with screws. WARNING: Item can swim into deep water. Always keep children in sight within quick and easy reach when they are in the water. Do not allow children to play where water is too deep for their swimming ability. Do not aim or shoot water at eyes or face. Use of goggles is recommended while playing. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE. AS WITH ALL ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE OBSERVED DURING HANDLING AND USE TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK. INPUT: 120V AC, 60Hz, 6W OUTPUT: 8V DC, 200 mA, 1.6 VA THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR SWIMMING POOLS ONLY CAUTION: For safety, children playing with this toy should be supervised by an ADULT, as with any products designed to be used in or around water. To maintain good performance and control, make sure that your R/C Water Soaker is operated at depths that do not exceed 6 feet.
