Do NOT install near any heat sources, hot water heaters, furnace or other apparatus which produce heat. 9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. The wide blade is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 10. Carefully remove the parts from their protective packaging and confirm you have the following components: • Wireless transmitter • AC/DC transformer • Stereo RCA cable Installing the Wireless Transmitter The wireless transmitter can transmit up to 100ft with broadcast quality sound. 1. Place the transmitter next to your desired audio source Hint...Connecting the transmitter to your cable box will allow you to transmit digital cable radio and television outdoors. 2. Locate the audio input jacks on the back of the transmitter. 3. A standard RCA plug (supplied) can be used to connect to most audio equipment; CD, DVD, television or MP3 player. 4. Power the audio transmitter using either the AC power adaptor or 4x “AA” size alkaline batteries. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. 2 Operating the LiteSounds System Transmitter 1. Connect the transmitter to audio source 2. Place the antenna in the upright position 3. Turn the transmitter ON 4. Select channel A on the transmitter 5. Adjust volume control on the front of transmitter to maximum setting 6. Operation Description Model: FM2400 This is a FM transmitter, powered by 4 x AA size battery or external DC 9V. (Input: AC 120V/60Hz, Output: DC 9V, 80mA AC-DC Adaptor) RVA interface inputs audio signals from CD or MP3. The audio signals will be amplified by Q3, Q4 and VR etc., then through C14 and R11 to Diode D1 for FM modulation. D1, Q2, C10, C11, L2, C12 and C13 form RF oscillating circuit. RF signal will be amplified by R6, C6 and Q1 for transmission by antenna.
