As the owner of this state-of-the-art wireless tire pressure monitor system, you will enjoy the improved convenie nce and benefits of having tire pressure information automatically moni tored while you are driving ! Pressure Alert digital tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) consists of sensor transmitter and receiving display, which can monitor tire pressure and temperature inside each tire and transmit the inform ation wirelessly to the receiver. Please read this manual carefully before installation!Special attention on following items : 1、 The sensor, when attached to the valv e stem, may change the balance and the performance of tire. If you feel the balance is affected or you feel the vibration when driving at high speed, please go to an auto shop to have the tire balance adjusted.2、 This system is designed to identify and di splay tire status and alert when pressure and temperature irregularities are detected. It is the responsibility of the driver to react promptly to the alerts. Abnormal tire inflation pressure should be corrected at the earliest opportunity to guarantee safety.3 、 If tire pressure alarm default setting ne eds to be modified, please strictly follow the steps in this manual or you can ask Kysonix Inc. dealer or authorized qualified technician to do it. Otherwise the system might not work properly. Chapter 2 System Parts Pressure Alert digital tire pressure monitori ng system includes the following parts: 1、 Tire Pressure Sensors ( The exact quantity depends on the model, the typical quantity is 4 ): Sensor monitors the corresponding tire pressure, temperature and battery power and transmits the information wirelessly to the monitor. The sensor is powered by a replaceable 3V lithium battery(CR1632). 2 、 LCD Monitor : Monitor alternatively di splays the pressure and temperature of each tire. It includes a base and a LCD monitor. 3 、 Power Cord : Connects LCD monitor to cigarette lighter socket. Provides power to the monitor. 4 、 Adhesive Tape : It is used to mount the monitor base onto the dash board or any location user selects. 5 、 Spanner Wrench : Installs and disassembles sensor or to replace sensor battery. 6 1 2 3 45 Chapter 3 Installation Instruction 3.1 Monitor Installation Identify a location for LCD mo nitor. Please make sure the distance between cigarette lighter socket and the installation location is shorter than the e nclosed power cord. Step 1. Stick Adhesive Tape : Remove the protection paper from adhesive tape. Stick the adhesive tape on the location wh ere the monitor will be placed. Step 2. Mount Monitor Base/Monitor : Align the monitor base to the adhesive tape, press the base firmly to the tape. Put LC D monitor into the mainframe. Adjust the angle of the base so the screen faces driver. . Step 3. Connect Power Supply : Connect the appropriate end of the power cord to cigarette lighter socket, another end to the si de of the monitor. Both the LCD screen and a red power light on the frame should be on if cigarette lighter socket power is on. 7 3.2 Sensor Installation Install sensor body on the valve stem. Note: Be…

Operational Description

Digital Tire Pressure Monitoring System Alarm Device Transmitting Circuit Design Digital tire pressure monitoring system alarm device is a direct TPMS. It adopted external installation in the valve stem and monitor each tire pressure and temperature. When abnormal tire status is detected, the sensor will transmit the signal and the system will alarm automatically. The transmitting circuit consists of sensor, signal processor and RF transmitting chips. The sensor adopted SP30 manufactured by Infineon. The RISC quick performance time will greatly reduce power consumption and it is suitable for battery power supply. SP30 inner sensor, watchdog timer、multicenter 15 bit ADC and two on-chip oscillators, power saving sleep mode multi-operational models etc.; Low Frequency Wakeup and Interval Timer Wakeup interrupt system etc supported with accurate collection, quick response, low power consumption, good wireless communication effect and reliable performance. RF transmitting chip adopted MICRF112 manufactured by Micrel, its operation voltage range is 1.8~3.6V and it is suitable for battery power supply. The maximum output frequency can reach +10dBm. Modulating ASK or FSK coding data is optional. Data(ASK,433.92MHZ and Manchester coding data)transmitting rate can reach 50Kbps. The chip has strong function, reliable transmitting signal and strong anti-interruption ability. The transmission circuit will be installed directly in the valve stem with sensor together. The installation is very easy with low cost and good effect. The detailed working principle is as follows: Sensor U2 in transmitting circuit will monitor the tire pressure and temperature and the timing alarm coding signal will be output (JP is U2 program I/O port) and modulate to chip U1 to output 433.92 MHz transmitting signal. (This transmitting system power is 3V with low power consumption and power saving sleep mode),Local Oscillation circuit is consist of capacitance C6, C7 and Q1. The frequency is 13.56MHz and is internally processed by chip U1. P9 output signal will match will L1, C4, L2, C5 and antenna matching network. +10dBm output power is transmitted omnidirectionally by helical antenna when the wheel is rotating with high speed. The helical antenna design already considered the transmitting blind spot when electromagnetic field is rotating with high speed. The blind spot can’t be completely eliminated. It completely depends on antenna transmitting efficiency, gain and direction.
