Program sensor before installation - 2 - Programming Instructions: 1. Remove cover fixing screw from bottom of case – pull apart. 2. Put receiver in program mode (refer to receiver instructions for programming). 3. Remove Mylar tab from battery. Unit should immediately program into receiver, if not press the tamper switch. 4. Motion sensitivity: · Normal sensitivity: jumper on BOTH PINS · High sensitivity: remove jumper Mounting Instructions: 1. Remove sub-base fixing screw located at the top. 2. Separate sub-base from back by gripping black gasket. 3. Mount case back at 7.5ft (ideal height) with provided screws and optional anchors. 4. Reattach sub-base and cover. Unit immediately goes into 3 minute walk test. To reset walk test, remove cover and reattach. Walk Test LED: 1. LED lights for 3 minutes when motion sensed (only during walk test). 2. Wireless transmissions are sent for each detection; so walk test can be used for receiver test as well. 3. Motion stops (locks out) sensing for 20 seconds after LED flashes. 4. When complete, replace cover fixing screw. Operation: 1. Motion stops (locks out) transmitting wireless sensor alarms for 3 minutes after sending an alarm transmission. This is to conserve battery life. 2. Walk Test LED does not activate in normal operating mode, only works during walk test. 3. Tamper: when cover is opened. 4. The EUT was tested in the three orthogonal planes with the receive antenna in both polarities. The emissions were maximized per ANSI C63.4:2003 8.3.1.2; that is, the measurement antenna height was varied between 1 and 4 m, and the EUT was rotated through 360° on a rotating turntable until the maximum emissions were found. Both horizontal and vertical measurement antenna polarizations were used. A resolution bandwidth of 100 kHz was used for frequencies less than 1000 MHz, and a resolution bandwidth of 1 MHz was used for frequencies greater than or equal to 1000 MHz. The video bandwidth was set to a value at least three times greater than the resolution bandwidth. EUT Disposition The EUT was adapted to continuously transmit for testing purposes. The unit is powered by a 3V lithium battery. The transmitter is centered at 433.92MHz and is controlled by a crystal. The device measures 6.75 x 3 x 2.5” and weighs approximately 8.2 ounces. This transmitter is activated via a motion detector or tamper switch. Eight transmission packets are sent by the device only upon valid activation. Upon completion of these packets, the device goes into sleep mode and will not transmit again until another activation. If no activation is received for one hour, three supervisory packets are sent.
