Locate this unit on the passenger side windshield. - If locate on the driver side windshield, it obscures the driver from view. Don't get the unit wet. Electrocution Hazard. Death orSerious Injury can result. Don't operate this unit during driving.Don't open the housing case of this unit. Stop the use of this unit if it has a fever, strange odor,emitting smoke. Use under the temperature of –10 ~ +60 degree Centigrade. - Don't leave the unit in car under high/low temperature. Result the failure. Before leaving your vehicle, always remember to concealthe unit in order to reduce the possibility of break-in and theft. Don’t put impact shock on the unit.Under high temperature, this unit can have a fever. - Don’t touch until the unit gets enough cold. Get burned. Obey the traffic laws.Don't use RadarHAWK™ SM if the unit is illegal in your area. <Windshield mounting>When you set the unit on the windshield, triangle two-sidedtape becomes unnecessary. Keep it in case you change theinstallation location.1. Make sure the suction cups and your windshield are clean.2. Attach provided rubber foot onto bracket. 3. Push the bracket to stick the rubber cups. 4. Attach the bracket to the bracket socket on the bottomside of the detector unit. 5. Fix the detector unit onto the windshield. Set the radar rear side in the direction of travel.Adjust the angle of the unitto keep in the horizontalposition. If necessary,adjust thebracketscrew tochange theangle. After theangle becomes on thelevel, tighten the screwfirmly. 6. Plug the power cord into the detector unit.7. Plug the cigarette light adaptor in the power cord into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. <Dashboard Mounting>When you set the unit on the dashboard, suction cups andrubber foot become unnecessary.Keep them in case you change the installation location.1. Place the detector unit on the dashboard to find a location where the unit has a clear, level view of the road. 2. Remove the paper backing from one (1) side of the triangletwo-sided tape and attach thesticky side of two-sided tapeon the bracket. 3. Attach the bracket to the bracket socket on the bottomside of the detector unit. 4. Remove the paper backing from another side of thetriangle two-side tapeand attach to the locationyousettheunitonthedashboard. Pay attentionto set the radar rear sidein the direction of travel.If necessary, adjust thebracket screw to changethe angle. After the anglebecomes on the level,tighten the screw firmly. 5. Plug the power cord into the detector unit.6. Plug the cigarette light adaptor on the power cord into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Operational Description

RadarHAWK-SE Operating Description The RadarHAWK-SE radar detector is a dual conversion scanning super-heterodyne receiver with separate alarms for each of the radar bands, dim function, mute, fil lter and band select. It detects front and rear laser and radar. It has a LED display of all functions. The RadarHAWK-SM is completely VG-2 undetectable. The RadarHAWK-SM is built with high reliability surface mount construction and VCO technology for improved performance over a wide operating temperature. The RadarHAWK-SM detects all radar and laser bands used by law enforcement: 10,475 – to – 10,575 MHz, 24,050 – to – 24,250 MHz, and 33,400 – to – 36,000 MHz, as well as 904 nanometer infrared signals. The RadarHAWK-SM is compact, designed exclusively for automotive use and is powered by the 12-Volt electrical system in a car or truck. Also The RadarHAWK-SM operate by the three 2/3AAA Rechargeable NiMH battery and SOLAR cell.
