Charging Your Bluetooth Headset The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior to using the headset, it is recommendable to charge the battery fully for the first time. Normal fully charger time is 1.5 hrs. (Approx.). Connect the charger to an AC wall outlet and the charge plug to headset charging socket. After completion of charge, please remove the chargers from headset and outlet. IMPORTANT: (a) Charging indication will be delayed for a few minutes if the headset has not been used for a long time or the battery is drained. (b) When battery becomes low, LED will flash red every 3 seconds Please recharge the battery as described above. (c) To prolong durability of battery, it’s recommended to charge the headset whenever low battery is encountered. Under low battery condition, if headset is continuously used, it’ll decrease durability of battery, as well as standby time, and cause longer charge time than normal 2 hrs. The blue LED will flash on 1 second. Power OFF: Press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds until you hear a long beep. The red LED will flash on 1 second. Headset will be off. The LED will stop flashing. Pairing your Headset: A.Place the headset and the mobile phone no more then 1meter and ensure there is nothing in between. B.Ensure the headset is OFF. C.Press and hold the “MFB” button 5 seconds until the headset LED alternately flashs blue and red. D.Activate you mobile phone Bluetooth function by referring to you mobile phone user guide for details. E. Set mobile phone to search for Bluetooth device “BTH-F1”, and select “BTH-F1” from deive list. F. Enter the passkey “0000” and press “OK” to pair your headset and mobile phone. When the pariring is complete, the headset LED will flash blue 5 times followed by a long beep. G. Press “Return” to go back to your mobile phone main menu, a headset icon will be shown on the screen, you will can to make and receive calls use your headset. IMPORTANT:If the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes while the pairing mode is activated, the headset LED will and headset will enter standby mode, Please repeat the above pairing procedures. Connect your headset A.Headset is under off status, Turn on the Headset for headset to search for the last connected devices and obtain Bluetooth connection automatically. B.Headset is under standby mode, Press the MFB for the headset to search for the last connected devices and obtain Bluetooth connection automatically. IMPORTANT: Under power on mode or removal of Bluetooth connection (link), if connection is not completed within 10 minutes, the headset will power off. Using your headset (1)Answer Call When there in an incoming call, will hear ringing through the earphone, Press the “MFB”button answer the call. (2)End Call Press the “MFB” button once during going call. (3)Reject Call Press and Hold the “MFB” button 3sec during incoming call. Wait for the beep, Then say the name of the person you want to call. (5)Last No. Redial Under Standby mode press the “MFB” button twice within 1.2 sec. Recall the last number dialled. (6)Transfer Call Transfer Call from Headset to mobile phone: Press and hold the “V-” button 3sec to transfer the call from headset to mobile phone during conversation. Transfer Call from mobile phone to Headset: Press and hold the “V-” button 3sec or Press the “MFB” button once to transfer the call from mobile phone to headset during conversation. Bluetooth Class 2 Module BCM-09 The BCM-09 is a Class 2 Bluetooth sub-system using BlueCore4-Audio Rom chipset from leading Bluetooth chipset supplier Cambridge Silicon Radio with a maximal output power of less than 4dBm. The module block includes CSR BC04-Audio IC, 32k EEPROM, Microphone Bias, Band pass Filter and Crystal for clock. When used with the CSR Bluetooth software stack, it provides a fully compliant Bluetooth system to v2.0+EDR specification for data and voice communications. The RF circuit includes the antenna matching components and a MMC Antenna AHD1103-244ST01. 32K EEPROM The headset is use 32K EEPROM from Microchip Technology, an EEPROM is necessary to store parameters such as the Bluetooth address.
